Eligibility: Female Indiana residents currently affiliated with an IWGA member club who possess a current IGA-PGA GHIN handicap index.

Field Size: 50 Teams

Format: 18 holes, Four Ball, stroke play. Two divisions will be Gross Division and Net Division (50% of handicap).

PGA Women’s Open

Site: The Legends of Indiana, Franklin, Indiana

Date: June 30-July 1

Entry Fee: Professionals and Amateurs both - $90. Includes cart and range fees for both rounds.

Registration Deadline: Monday, June 16

Eligibility: Indiana PGA Members or approved player apprentices, Indiana LPGA professionals or apprentices and amateurs with a current IGA-PGA GHIN handicap index.

Field Size: 120

Format: 36 holes, stroke play

Note: PGA Dress Code for women applies to all participants.

IWGA Indiana Amateur

Site: Ackerman Hills, West Lafayette

Date: July 15-17

Entry Fee: $125. Includes cart and range fees as well as luncheon.

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, July 1

Eligibility: Female Indiana residents affiliated with an IWGA member club who possess a current IGA-PGA GHIN Handicap index of 29.9 or less.

Field Size: 90

Format: Day 1 – 18 holes, stroke play. Day 2 – 18 holes, stroke play. Qualifier is based on 36 holes and field will then be flighted and low 20 and ties will be in the Championship Flight.

Note: Field is limited to the 90 players with the lowest handicap indexes of those registered by July 1. All others will be placed on an alternate list in order of handicap index.

IWGA Senior Amateur

Site: The Woodstock Club, Indianapolis

Date: July 24-25

Entry Fee: $85 Includes greens fees, range fees, cart fees and luncheon.

Registration Deadline: Thursday, July 10

Eligibility: Entrants must be women amateurs who are Indiana residents and who have reached the age of 50 by July 24, 2008. Entrants must be affiliated with an IWGA member club and possess a current IGA-PGA GHIN handicap index.

Field Size: 60

Format: 36 holes, Stroke Play. Gross and Net (50%) divisions.

IGA-PGA Family Championships

Date: July 31

Entry Fee: $60 per team member. Entry includes cart, range, green fees and lunch.

Registration Deadline: Friday, July 6,

Site: Kokomo CC, Kokomo

Eligibility: Indiana PGA members and Apprentices, Indiana amateurs who are affiliated with IGA-PGA member clubs and have a current IGA-PGA GHIN approved handicap index. Entrants must be 14 or older as of July 31, 2008.

Field Size: 200

Format: 18 holes, Four Ball Competition. Divisions include overall, father/son (gross and net), father/daughter (gross and net), mother/son (gross and net), and mother/daughter (gross and net). A parent may compete with more than one child. Parent’s score will be counted with each entered child’s score for that particular team.

IWGA Mid Amateur

Site: Ulen CC, Lebanon

Date: August 4-5

Entry Fee: $85. Includes range fees, cart fees and luncheon.

Registration Deadline: Monday, July 21

Eligibility: Female amateurs who are Indiana residents and who have reached the age of 25 by August 4, 2008, are affiliated with an IWGA member club, and possess a current IGA-PGA GHIN handicap index of 29.9 or less.

Field Size: 120

Format: 36 holes, stroke play. Players will be flighted based on first round score for second round. Putting contest in conjunction with first round scores.
